Guided Bushwalks in the Albany Heritage Park

As part of the Active Albany program a variety of guided bushwalks are being carried out in the stunning 260 hectare natural reserve that surrounds the National Anzac Centre. Active Albany is a unique and innovative program offering a range of diverse and affordable activities, competitions, groups and workshops designed to help you and your family become more active and healthy on a daily basis. Always wanted to explore more of Albany’s wonderful outdoors but don’t feel confident walking by yourself? Join a group of like-minded people on four short local walks with an experienced walk leader. All you need is a basic level of fitness and a sense of adventure.

Walks/Locations: Lake Sepping, Mt Clarence Heritage and Granite Trial, Mt
Adelaide Nature Trial and Point Possession Heritage Trial.
Time: Wednesday 9 - 11am
4 weeks July 26 - August 16
Fees: $8 per participant

YOUNG AND OUT THERE BUSHWALKING GROUP

Got the thirst for some adventure and the energy to hit some of Albany’s amazing trails but don’t want to go by yourself? Join a group of likeminded young people (18-30 yrs) to try out four local walks with an experienced walk leader. All you need is a basic level of fitness and a sense of adventure.

Walks/Locations: Mt Clarence Heritage and Granite Trail, Point Possession
Heritage Trail, Mt Martin Botanical Reserve and Peak Head
Time: Sunday 9am - 12 noon
4 weeks August 27 - September 17
Fees: $48 or $40 conc.
